<image:title>Champions - “ When I started training with Zach, I had a little bit of exercise and a little bit of food knowledge under my belt. Like most amateur runners, I figured it was as simple as eating food that tasted just okay and then putting one foot in front of the other. When we started training together, his routines changed the game completely. He incorporated a strength training with my rigorous running schedule, gave me solid, science based nutrition advice, and kept my body healthy through a 3 month half marathon training program. By the time I hit race day, I had dropped fat, gained muscle, and ran a 1:55 min half marathon, which was a solid 15 minutes ahead of my goal pace. Zach is the real deal and approaches nutrition and fitness with admirable passion and conviction.”</image:title>

<image:title>Champions - “I have been training with Zach Herman for the past couple of months now. My goals were to increase strength, flexibility, and tone down a bit. From day one Zach was able to help target areas that I never knew how to target. He has been great to work with, very motivating and informative. He’s able to push me during our sessions while still keeping the workout enjoyable. I am looking forward to continuing our sessions. I already feel stronger and more aware of my body, which as a dancer is very important. I am convinced that Zach will help me reach all my goals. I highly recommend training with him.”</image:title>

<image:title>About - My Journey to Fitness Once upon a time, I embarked on a quest towards a healthier me.</image:title>
<image:caption>Artist, Trainer, Coach I began my journey to fitness in one of the hardest ways: I was shamed into it. As an isolated kid growing up, (my parents worked often, and I didn’t live near other kids), I didn’t have many friends. I turned to video games and food for comfort, leaving me out of shape and socially maladjusted. Eventually, I found a connection in theatre: all the imagined worlds to live in and parts to play resonated with me. This, of course, didn’t help an overweight kid in his early teens already facing ridicule every day for being the fat kid; now I was the fat, theatre kid too. I couldn’t change their minds, but I could change myself. It wasn’t a healthy start. I’ve hit every fad and fitness myth. I’ve starved myself, I’ve done endless cardio, I’ve bought the workout DVDs, I’ve been led down a path that doesn’t work for me time and time again. Then I got smart. I got educated and certified by the International Sports Sciences Association. I started training in 2016, and have continued to get more and more educated since then, picking up Nutrition Coaching, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and many clients since then. The work is never done, and I continue to find ways to grow and care for myself to set an example for my clients and my audience. I’m very grateful to say business has been good for me!</image:caption>
